Tibia Global Coming back after a decade — knight & druid, Open PvP, from level 1.

02 — The duo

Knight and druid, 2026 edition.

Still the most forgiving pair in the game, and now considerably more interesting. The knight holds the room together; the druid decides how big the room can be.

The bargain

The core loop hasn't changed since your day: the knight gathers monsters into one pile and survives being hit by all of them; the druid keeps the knight alive and does most of the damage to the pile. What has changed is how much better this is than playing alone.

Shared experience is worth more than it used to be

Party experience scales with how many different vocations are in the group. As of the 2026 rebalance:

Different vocations in partyBonus experienceThat's you when…
1+20%two knights, or two druids
2+35%knight + druid — your default
3+70%once the sorcerer joins
4+100%add a paladin or a monk

Note the jump from 35% to 70% when the third vocation arrives. That single number is the strongest argument for getting your sorcerer friend in sooner rather than later — and for grabbing a paladin or monk if a fourth ever shows up.

The rules that break shared experience

  • Everyone must be close enough to the kill — different floors and long distances break it.
  • Everyone must have contributed — being AFK in the corner earns nothing.
  • Levels must stay within range of each other. If one of you sprints ahead, shared experience stops working. Level together; it is not a suggestion.

The knight

Your job is unchanged — be the reason the druid never gets touched — but you have more levers than you did.

Stances replaced your buff spells

utito tempo and utamo tempo are no longer timed buffs you re-cast. They're stances: on until you turn them off, remembered when you log back in, and unlocked with your promotion.

Blood Rage

+30% weapon skill, +15% damage taken. Your default for anything you can comfortably out-heal.

Protector

−15% damage taken, −30% damage dealt, +30% shielding. For pulls that got out of hand, and for holding a boss.

Casting one cancels the other, so switching mid-fight is a single keypress. Get both on hotkeys immediately.

Shields are a real choice again

With combat mode gone, all shields gained +30% defence, and knights got two spells that scale off the shield's defence value instead of your weapon's attack: Shield Bash (single target) and Shield Slam (everything adjacent). Both also make the targets' next auto-attack land weaker. That's new: for most of the last decade a two-handed weapon was simply correct. It still often is for pure damage — but a shield build is now a genuine option, especially when you're the one holding a big pull.

Your healing works differently

The wound-cleansing family now scales with shielding and magic level, not just level, with higher base power and a 2-second cooldown. Knight magic level, historically a joke, now does something. And you can drink strong mana potions, which quietly solves the mana problem that defined knight play for a decade.

The rest of the kit

  • exeta res Challenge — still your most important spell. Pull creatures off the druid, always.
  • exori / exori gran / exori mas — Berserk, Fierce Berserk, Groundshaker. All cost more mana than they used to; the potion change is the compensation.
  • exori ico Brutal Strike, exori hur Whirlwind Throw, exori min Front Sweep — single-target and cone damage.
  • utori kor Inflict Wound — a bleed you did not have. Cheap, and worth opening with on anything that lives more than a few seconds.
  • Chivalrous Challenge (level 250) — challenge, but area. Changes how you pull entirely once you get there.

The druid

Still the best healer in the game, and no longer a purely reactive one.

You also pick a stance now

  • Lifegiver — +110% healing on allies, but double the cooldown on Heal Friend and Mass Healing. Big, slow heals.
  • Rejuvenation — +10% on your own self-healing. For when you're the one in danger.
  • Shared Conservation — Heal Friend and Nature's Embrace also heal a second party member for 30% of the amount.

In a two-person party, Lifegiver is usually right: there's only one person to keep alive and the raw throughput matters more than the cooldown. Shared Conservation starts earning its keep the moment the sorcerer joins.

New offensive tools

  • Forked Glacier and Forked Thorns — chain from your target to several nearby creatures. This is the gap-filler druids never had: too many targets for a strike, too few to justify a wave.
  • Strike spells reach 7 squares now and hit substantially harder. Strong and Ultimate Terra/Ice Strike are real damage, not filler.
  • Rods generate mana instead of consuming it when you auto-attack, and their range went up. Keep attacking between spells — it's free resource now.

Staying alive

You lost the energy ring. In exchange you have Barrier: a hit that would kill you instead leaves you at 1 HP and drains mana at eight times the remaining damage. If the mana isn't there, you still die — so on an Open PvP world, treat a low mana bar as a low health bar. The mana shield potion is the replacement panic button; carry some.

Running a hunt together

  1. Both of you set prey before you leave town. Ideally on the creature you're about to hunt. Two hours of +25% damage or +40% experience is not a rounding error, and the timer burns whether you use it or not.
  2. Check the boosted creature. If it's something in your range, hunt that instead of your plan. More spawns, more experience, more loot, all day.
  3. Check your imbuements. Twenty hours of active use, and they die silently mid-hunt. The druid should carry the knight's spare creature products if capacity is tight.
  4. Set a bestiary entry each. Kills you were going to make anyway become charm points.
  5. The knight walks first and pulls. The druid stays a square or two behind, on the side you came from, never boxed in.
  6. The knight uses exeta res on reflex, not when the druid is already being hit.
  7. Open the party hunt analyser when you're done. It splits loot and supplies honestly and tells you whether the spot was actually worth it. Trust it over your feelings.

The mistake returning players make

Hunting the way you did in 2010 — walk in, kill things, walk out — works, and it will be roughly half as effective as it should be. The prep list above takes six minutes and is worth more than any gear upgrade you can afford at low level.

When the sorcerer arrives

Three vocations pushes the party bonus from +35% to +70%, which is the single biggest power spike available to you that doesn't involve levelling.

  • Roles shift. The sorcerer becomes your primary area damage, the druid tilts toward healing and support, and the knight can pull noticeably larger groups.
  • The druid should reconsider stances. Shared Conservation now heals two people from one cast.
  • Sorcerers got elemental stances in 2026 — master of fire, energy or death — each boosting that element and converting the next spell into it. They also lost energy rings and gained the same Barrier mechanic the druid has.
  • Watch the level gap. A sorcerer starting from scratch while you're at 150 breaks shared experience entirely. Either start him early, or plan to run separate sessions until he catches up — buying a character on the Char Bazaar is a legitimate shortcut here.
