Tibia Global Coming back after a decade — knight & druid, Open PvP, from level 1.

Start here

The game moved on. This is the map back in.

You learned Tibia on 7.4 and left somewhere around 9 or 10. Roughly thirteen years of updates happened without you. Most of what you know is still true — and a stack of entirely new systems now sits on top of it.

The short version

  • Combat mode is gone. No more full attack / balanced / full defense. The offensive bonus is now always on, shields got stronger to compensate, and every vocation instead has stances it toggles.
  • Dawnport is gone too — the starting island is now Newhaven, and "rooking" a character no longer exists. Your vocation choice is permanent.
  • There is a fifth vocation. The Monk arrived in 2025 — a fist-fighting healer-brawler with its own resource bar.
  • Levels no longer just raise numbers. From 51 on, every level gives a point for the Wheel of Destiny, a skill tree with new spells at the rim.
  • Equipment is now a system, not a purchase. Imbuements add leech and crit to gear; the Exaltation Forge upgrades items to higher tiers; every individual weapon has its own proficiency tree with perks.
  • Killing the same monster repeatedly pays. The Bestiary turns kills into charm points, charms turn into permanent damage against that creature, and Animus Mastery turns them into permanent bonus XP.
  • There is a daily loop now: boosted creature, boosted boss, prey slots, task board, daily reward shrine. Ten minutes of setup measurably changes your session.
  • Bosses are on personal cooldowns and drop into a reward chest instead of a corpse everyone races to.
  • Looting is automatic. Loot pouch, supply stash, and a session analyser that tells you your real profit per hour.
  • Free account is far more limited than you remember, and the economy now runs on Tibia Coins, a character auction house, and a real gold-to-coin market.
  • Your vocations were rebalanced in June 2026. Knights drink strong mana potions and can fight with a shield seriously; druids got chained spells, mana-generating rods, and a mana barrier that eats a killing blow.
  • The map roughly doubled. Everything from Roshamuul and Oramond onwards is new to you.

The one habit to build

Old Tibia rewarded showing up. New Tibia rewards setting up. Before a hunting session: check the boosted creature, set both prey slots on what you're about to hunt, make sure your imbuements are live, and have a bestiary entry selected. The same two hours can be worth double.

Where to go

How to read this

Every page assumes the same context: two characters, a knight and a druid, hunting together on an Open PvP world, starting from level 1, with a sorcerer joining later. Where something works differently for a third player, it's flagged.

Where a number moves — experience per hour, item prices, drop rates — this guide points you at the live tool instead of freezing a figure that will be wrong in three months. Where a mechanic is recent enough that the details are still settling, it says so.
